Election Day in the USA

So, today is the day! The long awaited election day here in the USA! After today, there will be no more candidates and no more campaigning – at least not until the 2020 election cycle begins.

Come tomorrow morning, we should know who our next president for the next four years will be. I know that no matter what the outcome is, there will be many who will disapprove of the choice that is made. If the craziness that has accompanied the campaign trail on both sides over the past year is any indication, I am afraid that there may be more riots and protests yet to come. I really hope that I am way off base and that none of this comes true! There has been enough violence associated with this election it certainly does not need to be continued!

No matter who wins the election, the person I voted for or another candidate, I will support the chosen person as my President for as long as they are in office. Holding a grudge will not help this country in any way. ONLY Unity can help heal some of the wounds that have been heaped upon this country and its citizen of the past few years.  Personally, what I hope for is that whoever ends up in office will run this country to the best of their ability, with humility, dignity and morality and that they will uphold the Constitutional Laws of this country.

In closing, I would just like to say that there is no way that this country can return to the greatness that it once had as long as we, as a people, continue to fight among ourselves and let ourselves be divided by the will of others.

My Birthday/Tonight’s TWD Premier

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

So, a couple of days ago was my birthday. On Friday, I turned 57 years old. Sometimes, it is so hard to believe that I am as old as I am. In my mind, I don’t feel old at all, but the mysterious aches and pains in my joints and bones remind me that I am certainly no longer a Spring Chicken! lol I am just happy that I continue to be blessed with waking up to face another day!

Tonight is finally the premier of The Walking Dead, Season 7! This is a highly anticipated episode and if you are a fan of the show, I KNOW that you know just how exciting this is! All of us fans of the show have been waiting anxiously for the next episode ever since the last episode of Season 6 aired over 6 1/2 months ago, way back on April 3rd.

As a fan, I already know that one – or more – of our “beloved” characters is going to die in this episode. I have an idea who it may be, but I just hope it’s not either of my personal favorites, who have been a part of the cast since the show started! We sit and wait for a few more hours, then we will know……..I think!

Tempered Glass Kitchen Scale

This digital scale not only functions very well, it looks great sitting on the kitchen counter, too! Measuring on 10.5 inches by 7 inches, this scale takes up very little room. With its very low profile design, this scale is only a mere 0.75 inches tall. My scale is in the Teal Blue color and I think it is simply stunning!

I love that the entire surface of this scale is covered with tempered glass. The tempering of glass is a process which makes the glass much harder and stronger than it normally would be. This, in turn, makes the glass much more resistant to breakage and helps to protect the scale. The digital read out is larger and very easy to read. This scale utilized 4 AAA batteries, which are included! I am very happy with the look, quality and functionality of this digital kitchen scale!

Great Household Tool!

This spin mop cleaning system is very nice! It does help make the chore of mopping the floor a little bit easier! In the box, you will find the specially designed spin mop bucket, the 2 part mop handle with mop head attachment, 2 mop heads, and the instruction booklet. Putting everything together and setting up is pretty straightforward and didn’t take much effort. The mop head is very easy to pop on and off of the attachment that connects to the handle.

All of the components of this system are sturdy and well made, yet not overly heavy. The buck holds a sufficient amount of water and is not flimsy at all when it has water in it. The bucket does have nice wheels and a built in handle which are very convenient for moving it around while mopping and from room to room. The bucket also has a very sturdy handle that runs across the top which helps when emptying and rinsing the bucket.

All of the spinning parts rotate very smoothly and easily yet does not cause the bucket to dip to one side or show any signs of stress. The wringer portion of the bucket is very well made with a stainless steel liner. The water that is removed from the mop via the spinning action is diverted back into the main bucket. I have used this system a couple of times now to clean my floors and the whole process has been pretty easy with no excess spillage of water.

I really like this spin mop system. Since I have arthritis in both of my hands and suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome in both of my wrists, it is definitely much easier for me to mop my floors using this system than it is trying to lug a heavy bucket around and wring out a mop by hand. This is definitely a 5-star product and I highly recommend it to everyone! I received this product at for a promotional discounted price in exchange for this review. All statements made in this review in regard to this product represent my own genuine and honest opinions.
