Most people really seemed to enjoy the two puzzles posted yesterday, so I will continue with two more similar puzzles again today. Yes, I do realize that these puzzles are not all that difficult to solve, but they were originally designed for children. Still, a few minutes of fun mental exercise never hurt anyone! 🙂

Like yesterday, the challenge is to find the six hidden words in each photo. I hope that you enjoy today’s selections. The solutions to all of this week’s puzzles will be posted at the end of the week.

Highlights for Children magazine is an American publication made especially for children. It was first published in June of 1946 by Garry Meyers and his wife, Caroline.

In my next few blog posts, I will put up two pictures that are puzzle challenges straight from various issues of Highlights magazine. What is the challenge? Try to find the six hidden words in each photo. Sound easy enough? Trust me, it’s a lot harder than you think. I hope you enjoy!

I will post the solutions to the puzzles later in the week.

Art Car Parade (Part 3)

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

As promised in my Art Car Parade (Part 2) post, this is the third installment covering the Art Car Parade that my husband and I went to on Saturday, April 16, 2016. Here are some more vehicles that we saw in the parade. However, these vehicles are different from the ones shown in the two previous posts. These entries are classic vintage, as well as low riders and modified cars.

Since I have no real information on the vehicles and I am not good at identifying makes and models of cars, I will just let the photos speak for themselves. Some of these vehicles have some very detailed custom artwork done on them! I hope that you enjoy the photos!

If you haven’t already seen them, be sure to check out Art Car Parade (Part 1) and Art Car Parade (Part 2), as well as Art Car Parade (Part 4) in this series.

On Saturday, April 16, 2016, my husband and I had the opportunity to go see our first Art Car Parade. We had heard about them and seen snippets of them on the news and in the newspapers but had never had a chance to attend one for ourselves.

There was quite a variety of Art Cars and Low Riders in the parade. I figured it is just best to let the art of each vehicle to speak for itself. Here are some of the Art Car entrants:
