I have been excited to see what other cars were going to be here since the first post. I think the roach one is my favorite this time. I am amazed that people work so hard of their cars to be a part of it!

Actually, the last two photos are of cars that I had shown in Part 1. I was just able to get a close-up from a different angle after the parade. 🙂

The Char Car is a strangely looking car (?) I don’t see any wheels, how does it move?

I agree that The Char Car is definitely one of the most odd-looking entries. It does have wheels. Since I took the photo of it more straight on, the wheels are not as easily recognized. However, if you look closely at the left side of the photo, you will see a very large metal wheel. It very much reminds me of the old-fashioned wagons wheels, but made of metal and much larger! The wheels are quite large, standing over 7 feet tall!

Wow this is absolutely incredible! I had no idea that people had such interesting cars. My favourite/the most frightening is the one with phantoms!

So many interesting vehicles/art projects! My dad would have loved to attend something like this. I have never heard of this around here where I live.

This was not in Austin. This parade was in Victoria, the city where I live. Austin is about 150 miles NorthWest of here and Corpus Christi is about 100 miles South of here. San Antonio and Houston are both about 135 miles from here.

These cars are so cool! Some a little odd but very cool! My fave would be the our lady of transportation car. I don’t know what it is but I kept going back to look it over a few times. Very inventive and unique. Where was this parade? I’m going to have to go to the first post to start from the beginning!

This parade was held in the city where I live, in Texas. The original parade is held in Houston where they just had their 29th annual Art Car Parade the weekend before the parade was here. Victoria has only had an Art Car Parade for 5 years. 🙂

Brilliant! So original and unique! Unfortunately, I live on such a small island, that we do not have these kind of activities! People who have this kind of creativity will do great things.
